ChannelsOnline is a committee of Asset | Strategy & Logistics. Asset | Strategy & Logistics is the study association for students with an interest in strategy and logistics at Tilburg University. We support students in the (Pre-)Master programs Strategic Management and Supply Chain Management. We also support bachelor students Business Administration with an interest in Organization and Strategy.
Our study association has three objectives:
- Linking study to business
Asset | Strategy & Logistics gets students in contact with companies that are active in the fields of strategy and logistics. This way, students can direct relate their study towards business. Also, the chances of finding a job or internship can be increased this way. Asset | Strategy & Logistics organizes several activities to get students in contact with companies. Some of our events are the Consultancy Day, the Supply Chain Day, the Recruitment Event and Business Cafes.
- Study support
The most important way of supporting students during their study is by providing them guidelines for courses in both their master and bachelor programs. A second way in which we support students is by giving students the opportunity to give comments on the content of their study. We are doing this by joining the soundboard meetings of the department.
- Study enrichment
Besides supporting students, Asset | Strategy & Logistics gives students the opportunity to get more out of their study period. Becoming active gives students the chance to organize the activities themselves and develop their teambuilding and organizational skills. Next to this, it also helps to improve their resume.
Faculty Association Asset
Asset | Strategy & Logistics is allied to Faculty Association Asset. Asset aims to provide the students of Tilburg School for Economics and Management (TiSEM) of services and activities that contribute to their study and student life at Tilburg University. Asset provides services and activities with a study exceeding character that do not fall in a specific specialism. Activities and services that are aimed at a specific target area are organized by the specific study associations. These activities can be found on the websites of the seven individual study associations. Together we form Faculty Association Asset.
Study association Asset | Strategy & Logistics stays in touch with many parties of Tilburg University. This is important to improve the collaboration and to be able to maintain the quality of activities. We mainly collaborate with the department of Management.
